Voice of Come Dancing and radio presenter from Jazz FM, Magic FM, and Saga Radio.
Biography
With a whacking 30 years of broadcasting and voicing experience, he’s a hardcore professional, a stalwart of the airwaves. Way back when, Charles Nove set off on a radio career in his native Glasgow. It wasn’t long before he was recruited by London’s BBC Radio 2, where he’s been popping up, at all times of the day and night, presenting various programmes or reading the news.
Nowadays Charles is one of the regular news team joining Terry Wogan on UK’s favourite radio breakfast show. As if that wasn’t enough, Charles has also been heard presenting on Jazz FM, Magic FM, and Saga Radio. He’s also been heard voicing television trailers for BBC and ITV channels, plus countless commercials and promotions. In fact, Charles was the voice – and sometimes face – of BBC TV’s legendary long running show Come Dancing. He spent a phenomenal 12 years commentating on the gyrations of scantily clad dancing girls. As he says himself; “It was hell, but someone’s got to do it!”
Charles loves working on live events, which means he’s a superb Voice of God. He’s acted as the later and/or on-stage presenter at events in all the major London conference hotels, as well as further flung venues including Paris and Brussels.
He also has his own studio, which makes him ideal for quick turnaround, or last minute jobs.
